For those of you who may be unfamiliar with my "shapes" style of painting, this is a method I learned long ago in school, and have since become familiar with again. Rather than painting details and working with blending, I paint the shadows, midtones & lights as individual shapes. This gives the viewers eye the chance to "blend" it. As one viewer told me "it's all there, all the details and all the lines, and yet it isn't!" Hopefully, this style makes the painting interesting for the viewer.

strong and vibrant! love it!
I have to agree with Kim. What a unique little paint bottle too! Gorgeous colors too, Nancie! Well done!
I love the use of color in works
I like how you simplify your shapes ....really nice Nan!
This ig great. Love the print on the bottle.
Thank you everyone. Loved working with that red. Red is such a wonderful paint, in color, in density, in intensity! Loved this bottle, it's shape & cap were wonderful to paint. @Angela - I loved doing the print on the bottle as an abstract. I didn't need to worry about my handwriting being legible!
