This is another painting that was given a new look by cropping the canvas to a new size. Originally done as a 9x12, it had more sky & more foreground. I liked it, but again, it needed something.
Part of the top was cropped, part of the bottom was cropped - and the focus was kept on the house, the horizon line. It definitely gave the painting a new look. This painting is available through DPW at a very modest amount.

The Slices of Life paintings are 6x12 canvas on hardboard, designed to hang free form on the wall. They can also be stood on a shelf in a small easel. A small collection of 3 or 4 of these paintings make a great statement on a wall.
In addition to the re-cropped paintings I offered during the show, I also did a few re-paints -- which are new painted versions of older paintings. A few of them are still available, and I will be posting them over the next few days as well.
