I haven't finished the 3rd in the mini series "Petals & Wings" - mainly because the allergy medication I took today has made me way too tired. So I am reposting this older painting - which I love, by the way. Titled The Woodpile - it is one of the few plein aire paintings I have done, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Having spent this past weekend (& probably most of next weekend) chopping & cutting wood (we had 2 large trees taken down that were beginning to fall) -- so this painting is very near, & dear, to my heart (& back, & arms) LOL

Une très jolie peinture... Je ressens le même plaisir en l'admirant que j'ai actuellement en allant me promener avec Icarus mon dalmatien dans la forêt toute proche de chez moi... avec ces verts acidulés des feuilles...
J'espère que votre allergie va doucement s'atténuer... Je souffre du même problème.

I do so love this piece too, Nancie. I just adore trees and green so this painting makes me joyful just to look at it.
