"Yellow Coneflower"

Besides working with all those yellows, the reds, browns & rusts of the center were just as much fun. As was the mottled green & blue background. This painting goes back to 2010 when it was done in response to a challenge (which one escapes me), most probably the floral group over on Wet Canvas. I'm not entirely sure it is a coneflower, but it appears to be in that family.
