This is my submission for this months challenge over on Artistic Sentiments. The image, with the blue background, image & wording was a perfect backdrop for the red, orange & greens of the foreground flowers & leaves.
I chose to zoom into the one area with the word Deepwood, and go with a vertical format. I thought of leaving the word out, but really found it too empty on top with it gone.
Rather like this one and enjoyed painting it. Thanks Dana Marie!

I love the element of the word in this piece too, Nancie. Good choice to leave it in. What a beautiful advertisement piece this would be for any place called "Deepwood."
