Gdansk

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This was done for this month's VPO excursion into Poland. The original google view can be seen here.

I have been doing so many floral paintings of late, I thought I'd take a short break & do a bit of landscape. The VPO locations always offer a wide variety, and this area of Poland is no exception. Many buildings, but also many rural areas once you get away from the city area. I have quite a few screen captures so I will probably have at least 1 more submission this month.

I do not know a good title for this painting. I was trying to think of something clever, but came up empty. I like the touches of red in the flowers & the girl's pants. I also like the sky's reflections in the windows. For now, I am simply calling it Gdansk - which is the area of Poland we are painting.

J'aime la lumière qui illumine cette dernière peinture si différentes de vos toutes dernières... Il est bon parfois de changer un petit peu et cela vous réussit parfaitement.
Gros bisous

Or you could call it "Touches of Red." It is lovely, Nan!
