I recently reworked this painting which was originally painted in April 2009. I wasn't happy with the final product - it needed more value changes. And more depth to the color.
I made the flowers, which were originally more red, into a deeper Alizarin Crimson with purple lines & shadows. I also added a bit more to the background, which is a mix of Burnt Sienna and variations of greens that were mixed.
All in all, I like the changes and think the painting has much more visual interest.
