Fields of Yellow - SOLD

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This was also done in March 2010 for the VPO visit to Stavenger Norway - the original post can be read here. I had found these wonderful yellow fields as I roamed the countryside and found them to be a striking  focal point.

I missed this one the first time. Love that yellow field! And the shrubbery along the fence line is beautiful!

This beautifully answers a question I'd been wondering at for a while, Nan. So very beautiful!

love the yellow field and white flowers in the foreground. Pretty landscape.

Thanks Virginia - I think that shrubbery along the fence is what drew me into the scene to paint it.

Hi Sherry - glad I could answer a long time question for you! Again, I know the greens in this probably caught your eye.

Thanks jean - that yellow field was so compelling, I just had to paint it!
