Rita at the Craft Show in the Park - SOLD

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This was painted back in September 2010 and it is a scene from the art/craft fair I attended then (same fair that produced the image The Artist). The original post can be found here.

The sunlight that day, along with the dappled shade from all the overhead trees in the part, really added to the atmosphere. I took numerous photos, but this one, with the woman on the bench - her white hair lit by the sunlight -- she reminded me of my mother-in-law, Rita. Hence the name of this piece.
