Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Done in December of 2010, this sprig of holly with berries is perfect for the holiday season. The touches of blue in the leaves help to define the shine that holly leaves often have. The red berries are a stark contrast to the greens. And the background is a mottled lilac that seems to set the whole thing off. One of my favorites.
