This is where all that my dad taught me about perspective drawing & vanishing points came into play - and what better day to do this painting than on Father's Day. My dad is long time gone (died in 1972) and I miss him, but moments such as this bring him back to me.
I wondered what title to give this. I had a few "Green Curtains", "Window to Window" and "Through the Window" - settled on the simple "Window View" - at least for now.

Really great view, Nan! Wonderful job on the perspective and vanishing points! This seems like such a simple thing--looking out a window at two other windows. But it really is intriguing--what's the story about this view? Does someone live here and that's their view of life? As always, I love your style of painting!
Edward Hopper comes to my mind, beautiful painting and great color choices.
