Items that I carried or wore at my wedding. The handkerchief and garter were my mothers, from her wedding 35 years ago. The rosary was my aunts that had passed away days before the wedding.
This is such a lovely gathering of things memorable and full of meaning. So very touching to see. It sounds like you had a bit of a sadness etched into your special day with the loss of your aunt. I hope that your wedding brought many smiles to so many of you feeling the loss of your aunt.
Thank you Sherry for your kind words. My aunt had been sick for quite a bit of time, so her passing before the wedding was - in some ways - a relief. I always figured she was at the wedding, since she was no longer held back by her sickness.
