"Rutted Road"

Located in Italy, I loved this rural scene of a rutted, well-traveled road. Especially the shadows that are cast across the tracks by the foliage.

Artist Note: I am working on a commissioned piece that is a true challenge for me. It is a night holiday scene of a home, and I am working /re-working the darks & lights in this. It is definitely out of the box for me, but I'm making a note to do "more nocturnal scenes." Hope to have this done in a day or so and will post it then.
Also, Monday is the deadline for this year's Sun Art. Mine is done & once I have a good photo of it, I will post that also. (it's a bit of challenge to photograph).

Looking forward to seeing your new pieces, Nancie. I am studying your leaves to see how you handle them. I never can seem to reach a right balance with them.
