Calla Lily

"Calla Lily"
9x12 acrylic on canvas panel
Available through DPW gallery/auction

I love this flower, with it's long sleek trumpet appearance. And I love to work with buttery yellows when painting. That makes this a perfect combination!

This painting definitely grabs attention when it's hanging on a wall. The bold flower design with the layers of deep yellows - all against a dark green background - just makes it all pop.

I have this painting currently mounted on foamboard & matted in black with beveled edges - which makes it truly stand out. The matting is approximately 1-1/2 inches all around - and makes the overall size 12 x 16. Here's an example of how it would look matted (only the black):

I am offering for sale at DPW - both at auction and a Buy It Now. The Buy it now price includes the foamboard & matting. If the auction climbs to the buy-it-now price, I'll give the winner the option of matting or not.

Stunning Nan! Reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe.

Thank you Sherry & Jean! Georgia O'Keefe was a master at flower close ups. Love to look at her work
