Rendition Tree

"Rendition Tree"
6x12 acrylic on canvas panel
Available through DPW gallery/auction

Day 19 of 365 days

This was originally painted in 2012 for a challenge on the Rendition Me This blog. An interesting blog that shows artwork & asks artists to do their rendition. Or what they were inspired to create from it. Dana Marie, who runs it, often posts a piece she did previously & then asks artists to create from it. It unfortunately has gone static, with the last challenge posted back in August of 2013 - so I'm inclined to think it is over.

Much of Dana Marie's work is whimsical in a sense, hence the Rendition Tree's style. I thought this followed yesterdays piece rather well, with circles & swirls. I feel I am still floundering about, but I do hope I can gather together my thoughts soon.

In the meantime, enjoy this little piece that is up for auction over on DPW. There are gold lines in the background, between the blues & greens - just to enhance to sparkle look.

My first thought was Klimt. Really like this piece, Nancie.
