Dappled Shade - SOLD

Commissioned Piece - NFS
9 x 12 Acrylic on canvas panel

This home portrait was not simple, although, at first, it seemed to be. But the amount of details in the home made it a bit of a challenge. And getting all the assorted colors set was also a bit of work - not that it was difficult work. These home portraits are indeed a labor of love - I just love architecture.

But the thing that grabbed my eye, when I first saw the photos of this house, was that wide driveway. And because of the unique garage doors, the owner wanted them to show - so the long, wide driveway needed to show also. How best to break it up? Dapple shade!

With the holidays rapidly approaching, and the gift giving lists starting, wouldn't a "Home Portrait" make a wonderful gift for someone? Contact me if you are interested in one - there is still time to order & receive one for the holidays. But don't wait too long - the days are flying by!

Bonjour,

Une autre très belle propriété que vous avez peint.
Vous avez eu raison de travailler la large entrée comme vous l'avez fait. Il n'aurait pas été évident autrement afin qu'elle ne tue pas l'ensemble.
Un joli travail.
Gros bisous
