Day 29 - White Daisy

Acrylic on 5x7 canvas board
Available through DPW gallery

This is another small'ish (5x7) painting of a daisy, a bit closer and focused on the center. There are so many varieties of daisies! Love those little flowers, with their reaching petals.

Day 29 - tomorrow is the final day. I've read on other blogs that some folks are planning something spectacular for their final piece. I doubt I can go that extreme, but I will have my final painting ready. I didn't think I could accomplish all 29 days, and I have to say that at one point, it started to feel like a marathon! It has been fun (at times) and a chore (other times), but all in all, glad I did it! Looking forward to an easier schedule with paintings next month!

Gorgeous, Nan. Love the realism, with an abstract quality. I also like the surprise of the blue center. Nice work!

I imagine this has seemed like a long haul getting a painting a day finished for this challenge. You've done marvelous, Nancie...My favorites are the evergreen boughs in snow. Those pieces have really stuck with me!
