Pudding and Spoon

Still lifes are always so interesting to do. Capturing the light spots, the shadows, the perspective. And then add some glass into the picture (no pun intended) and you have a challenge. And it's so easy to lose the momentum and let the brain take over. But it becomes too rigid - better to tell the brain to "be quiet" and just paint what you see.
