Birch at Waters Edge - SOLD

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

Autumn is such a colorful time of year in the Northeast. I love watching as the leaves change almost daily from the dark greens of summer, to lighter greens as they begin their change for the season, and then the yellows, oranges and reds of autumn. Along the side of the lake, they are a wonder to see against the blue of the water and sky. But I think it is the bark of the birch trees that capture my attention. Their stark white light as they stand out among the colors. I think they are my favorite tree!

You have done a truly beautiful job in this landscape. I think nature itself is just so beautiful and you've captured it gorgeously, Nan.
