The Royal Apple

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

From the fall of 2010, this apple is done in the "shapes" style of painting, with a close crop that goes off the edge of the canvas. I really like how this one came out, and not sure if I like the apple or the leaves more. I have submitted this to the DPW challenge for "Pare down your apple." I would have painted a new one, but time got away from me this week and I wanted to bring this one into focus again for viewers.

Gros bisous
