Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction
From the fall of 2010, this apple is done in the "shapes" style of painting, with a close crop that goes off the edge of the canvas. I really like how this one came out, and not sure if I like the apple or the leaves more. I have submitted this to the DPW challenge for "Pare down your apple." I would have painted a new one, but time got away from me this week and I wanted to bring this one into focus again for viewers.

Je suis ravie de découvrir cette belle pomme feuillue en peinture. Je ne la connaissais pas. Vous avez offert à celle-ci des couleurs généreuses et une merveilleux contraste. Une envie de la croquer survient !
Gros bisous
It is a beauty indeed, Nan! Love the rich and deep reds especially!
Such a wonderful sense of light and color - this is a beauty!
