Bottles

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This was done previously for Windows to the Words challenge, back in June 2010. I loved all the shadows crossing and light's reflecting on the various colors of glass. I also liked how the colors of the glass casted colored shadows on other bottles. I enjoyed this one a great deal, working with so many shapes & colors.

Very interesting to see the same light playing differently with different coloured glasses, makes a good collection!

Eek! Somehow I've missed three posts!! I'm really confused by what a "shapes" style of painting is, Nancie. Can you write more about that? It looks almost like a digitized photograph with the pixels showing larger than life. Love the crop of the candies and I do remember seeing this piece before. It is lovely!
