The Conversation continues....

You may not be aware, but Jill Polsby and myself are doing an art collaboration for the Sketchbook 2012. She had contacted me about doing the sketchbook together, forming what is called "The Conversation" - where we alternately work on the pieces, making them connect.

The first two were done - the helix and then the snake coming off of it. I built off of the "snake" and turned it into a fork with barbeque steak. Added some cherries & a croissant (I did this piece over 4th of July weekend, can you tell?) Here is what that piece looked like.....

Jill then worked some magic off of the right hand side of this - that is how the conversation works, we each build off the right hand side of the piece last done. Her addition ....

So that combined, you get.....

And now, I built off the right hand side of her cherry pie ala mode.....

And now, the 3 pieces stitched together so that you see "the conversation" happening...

This is alot of fun and I look forward to the packages each week. We have 2 separate conversation pieces going on at the same time - please head over to Jill's blog. She devoted one of her posts to the other piece, which we refer to as the "fruit" conversation.
