This was done for the Photo Challenge on the Artist Daily web site. 3 different photos were posted, I chose to do the fruit. For some reason, I think fruit (and vegetables) look good with the "shapes" style painting. This was a fun challenge to work in, I enjoyed doing the painting, and it went rather quick.

Oh wow Nancie!Just loved it.The contrasting colors of the leaves and orange makes it so attractive.You beautifully captured the light on the leaves too.I followed the link you posted here and must say you chose the best reference photo to work upon.
