Fruit Assortment abstract

Done for the current Inspiration All Around Us blog challenge. This is probably more abstract than I usually do (or have ever done), but just felt like painting shapes today!

Acrylic on canvas sheet, approx 7 x 11

The intensity of the light is striking. I have an idea for this inspiration challenge as well - hope I can squeeze in the time. I also just love the multiple shades of red!

I really like this painting! The composition is complete, your color is exciting and the simplicity of the abstraction causes me to look at it more closely. Great work!

Those cherries just look scrumptious, Nancie! Well done! I like the more abstract look for a traditional subject.

Wonderful painting Nancie. I love the abstract look of it. Very cool. Thanks for stopping by my blog. We loved the High Line and can't wait to go back when it's expanded further. We did walk along the Hudson River Parkway to get there. Also wonderful. Happy Fourth.
