I am working on the tree painting still. I think I've redone it at least 3 times. Happier with it now, but may do a bit more tweaking on another day.
But today has been so spring-like that I had to post a spring painting. This is an older one that I've done, but it's one of my favorites. I gave it a title of "I'm Hungry"
Acrylic on canvas, 9x12

What a gorgeous painting!! I love the idea of us seeing nests in trees and the possibility of the birds seeing "houses" in trees! Looks like a photograph and my favorite subjects too!
Hi Sherry. You are my sole fan, and I so appreciate hearing from you. I agree with you, I love these birdhouses too. I have about 4 or 5 different birdhouses in my yard, hanging from the Dogwood & Crab Apple trees. Every year they are occupied and I get to watch a new family start. Last year, a bad storm blew one house so hard, that the babies must have fallen out. I found one the next day, sitting in the grass (actually my dog found it & brought me over to see it). I got the ladder out, picked it up & carried it up to the closest bird house. Then I sat & waited. Sure enough, the parents came back & fed the little guy. I'll bet that one of the adults in the yard this year was that little one. Thanks again for stopping by & writing, I appreciate it.
