"Silhouettes"

This one is from last year. I love being near the water - I love the reflections in the water from the sky. Perfect blues on beautiful, bright sunny summertime days. And as the sun moves towards the horizon, the colors start to appear. The sky becomes full of color which is reflected in the water. Love it!
In this painting, the added foreground makes it more interesting I think. The leaves & reeds seem to frame the sunset, and add a foreground location for the viewer to stand.
I am surprised that this one has not sold - yet, but I have it up for auction at DPW now with a low starting bid.

Very beautiful. I have often stopped to snap photos of the colors of sunset!
