Paws for Charity

This is my page in this years benefit book, Paws for Charity. I am proud to say I have been a part of this great project for 3 years now. It's a wonderful book, put together by Sara Harley - various artists & photographers donate images of their work that are assembled into a most wonderful book. All proceeds from the sale of the book goes to SHAID - Sheltering Helpless Animals in Distress. This organization, located in Nova Scotia, is a no-kill shelter dedicated to helping animals. Being an animal lover, I couldn't help but donate!

This year, my page shows 2 dogs & 1 cat painting. Brady is a painting I did for the winner of my Pet Portrait contest on my Facebook page. Her dog Brady is so adorable, I had a lot of fun painting this one! Precious belongs to a friend of a friend - who had me do the painting as a gift. Kitty was a challenge portrait that has since been "adopted" into a new home.

The Paws for Charity book is available now for sale, and right now a special discount is being offered (the discount does not lessen the donation to SHAID, they still get the full purchase price). Here is the information & links:
