This set was painted together as a pair, showing the beautiful blue with yellow of these flowers. Painting flower petals is always interesting - trying to show the curve, or the light in each one. Daisies are perfect flowers to paint for this reason, their individual petals each has a curve & a highlight. Great practice.
With these paintings, I also worked on making the background fuzzy, and the focus on the foreground. It adds depth to the overall image.
Both are up for auction at DPW, and can be purchased separately. If anyone buys both, I will combine shipping.
