Three Pitchers

"3 Pitchers"
9x9 acrylic on canvas panel
Available through DPW gallery/auction

Previously painted in 2011,
this painting is now on a 1-week auction at DPW
at a very affordable starting bid!

I don't do very many still life paintings, but I do love ceramic pitchers. I am not sure why, but I love their shape & feel. And so, when the opportunity to paint them - with their reflections - came along in 2011, I dove right in. But I have to say, if I painted this again today I would do some things differently. I guess that is all about an artists style evolving, or changing, with time.

Bonjour chère amie,

J'aime la composition de cette dernière peinture. Il n'est jamais évident de faire "tourner" les pots !...
J'aime beaucoup les reflets que vous avez magnifiquement capturés.

Gros bisous.

I think they look awesome, Nancie! Great job on the reflections and I can almost feel the textures of these pitchers in my own hands.
