30 in 30 days - Day 18 - Winter Window Boxes

Acrylic on 8x10 canvas panel
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This is what happens when you leave your plants in their pots & boxes outdoors, and then winter drops the snow & ice on them! These are not mine, but thought it interesting enough to capture it. And of course, I couldn't leave it just plants, boxes & snow! Love painting bricks & shutters also!

Day 18 in the 30 in 30 Days challenge, my submission is a larger one (8x10), and it took me 3 days to finish it up. Lost time with the day job & commute, and I was also doing the smaller paintings as well. And I guess I shouldn't overlook the fact that this image has a lot going on (with bricks, shutters, curtains & the window boxes!).

I think this is fabulous, Nancie. I always wanted window boxes and always wanted a brick house too. Well done and I can see a lot of work has been put into this one.

Also, a quick note to let you know my painting arrived and it is gorgeous. I love that it is on Masonite or something so I can easily frame it. I still haven't figured out how to frame my other piece on the canvas.
