Caladium in 4 part harmony

Acrylic on 4 - 8x8 inch gallery wrapped
stretched  canvas, image continues
on all 4 - 3/4 inch sides
Available through DPW gallery/auction

Previously done in March of 2010 for the Wet Canvas floral group. This is painted using 4 individual 8x8 canvas's, with the single image grouping going across all 4. Each individual canvas can stand on it's own, but together they form a 16x16 image. The canvas is stretched with gallery edges, and I continued the image onto the edges. In the photograph I have the 4 canvas's tight with each other, but they can be left with a margin between. It has a finished look because the edges are painted also.

Amusant comme conception... J'aime cet assemblage de feuilles... les couleurs sont très harmonieuses...
Dehors chez loi le vent bavarde avec les feuilles... Votre toile convient parfaitement à cette condition...
Gros bisous

I love this, Nan! Of course, it seems that for the past 15 years or so, my once green thumb has turned black. Sigh...but painted plants are a wonderful way to keep the green alive for me. Beautiful!

These are beautifully painted and I like the 4 canvases together.
