This was done for the monthly challenge on Artistic Sentiments blog. The garden lady statue was great, but the foliage surrounding her was just so enticing to capture in paint! And that bit of fencing behind her - the perfect little backdrop.

What a beautiful painting, Nan! Those red leaves or flowers just bring you full circle. And I must confess, I am considering one of these stone beauties for my yard one day (when I have a yard to call my own, that is).
And a very good job you did of it! Quite a lovely garden spot! Would be real nice having one like this.
