Single Bloom

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
Available through DPW gallery/auction

This is Single Bloom, a painting I did some time ago that I recently took out & reworked. It is a single blooming double yellow daffodil against a very dark green background. Only the stem shows in addition to the flower - giving it a more dramatic flair. They are blooming in the yard now, but not for much longer, so I thought it best if I captured it's individual beauty before they are gone.

Les premières fleurs du printemps sont souvent les plus belles, les plus délicates... tout comme celle que vous venez de peindre. Très joli travail
Gros bisous à vous.
