Handy iPhone - SOLD

Acrylic on 9x12 canvas sheet
SOLD - prints available through Fine Art America

This was done for the DPW challenge of Hands - we were to depict our hand doing something, anything that said something. For me, it is my iPhone. Love this little computer.

And it is only fitting that I paint this, in remembrance of the man who's vision & heart drove him to build what we all needed long before we knew what we wanted. Not just the iPhone, but the iPad, iPod and the Macintosh computer.

Steve Jobs, you will be missed. Rest in Peace - and Thank You.

What a great idea, Nan! I'm one of the few, I guess, who doesn't have an iPhone. But I do love my iPad and Mac computer. Great job on this challenge!

Nan, this has to be one of the best hand paintings I've seen yet. Truly wonderfully done. I also don't have an IPhone but I sure appreciate your doffing of your hat to Steve Jobs. I don't think I ever heard a negative thing about that man. Did you know he only accepted $1 per year as his salary? I read that somewhere yesterday.
