This is my third, and final, submission for the Virtual Paintout - Jersey Island. This wonderful little guest house is part of a Bed & Breakfast I found in the area of Trinity. The original Google location can be found here. There is also a write-up about it here, with photos of the rooms & views. It appears to be a wonderful place to visit and if I were traveling to the Isle of Jersey, I think I would put this on my list. Can't you just see yourself walking up that path, past those flowers, through that little red gate? Or perhaps leaving through the gate, as you begin an exploration of the area - camera in hand as you try & capture images for future paintings?

This virtual "trip" to Jersey has made me long for a vacation, or I should say a traveling trip/holiday. I have nothing planned for the moment, but this may have gotten my mind wandering & thinking. Who knows, I may show up at this Bed & Breakfast later in the year, with my camera in hand!

Seems like you did actually visit the place and did this,, so much of precision here, loved the way you dealt all the greenery.

I tend to get intimidated with so much of green but you executed this piece so beautifully.Love the little use of red in the doors and windows, works well with all the greenery.

The country side is superb. The house has such interest. This painting is one you could just look at for hours.
