This is based on the cover of a catalog I recently received in the mail. I love the composition of the single, bright flower among the multi-color stems. Seems to make the flower jump out. I also reused the same colors in the background, but subdued it further back with washes of paynes gray.

Oh, I do think this is so pretty, Nancie! The colors are beautiful and pretty true to nature as I've seen grasses with those colors when you look up a bit closer. I feel like one of the kids in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" with the viewpoint of this one too. A neat thing!
