If this looks familiar, well, that's because it is an oldie. Painted this last year - recently took it out & spruced it up a bit in the whites. But it is not newly painted tonight for the challenge. I have finally hit the "out of time" moment where I can't accomplish a painting before midnight. So, I offer this as a painting I did, and tweaked, for day 15 of the challenge.
I have a new one sketched, another one started, another one ready to work, and yet another (for the VPO this month) waiting to be sketched. Only 1 is a small one - I feel like I'm putting much of my larger pieces now on hold, while I paint these small ones for the challenge. As one artist said in her blog that I read today - feels like I'm painting just for the challenge, and I'm just producing pieces to meet a deadline. And that, for me, is taking the fun out of it.
I noticed Leslie went back on one of her rules as well, she painted boats. She didn't have time to do something separate for the challenge, and used the boats painting she did with her workshop group. So I guess if she can break her rules, so can I!! There, ok, I feel a bit better. LOL - but I will need to figure what I will do for tomorrows post. Maybe a white polar bear, in a snow storm, standing on an iceberg, eating vanilla ice cream - a totally white canvas! Oh well, off to finish wrapping things to get shipped out tomorrow, and then to the drawing (um, painting) board. Later....

This is lovely and whatever you did to tweak it, works beautifully!
Nan, This is beautiful! I love the soft whites with the dark background. Although I am glad I committed, Leslie's challenge has definitely been "a challenge" for me.
