Acrylic on 5x7 canvas board
Available through DPW gallery
Switched seasons abruptly, but still working with "whites" - this daisy has parchment shades along with violet/purple lines & shadows. I love daisies - they seem so delicate with their numerous petals. And they are fun to paint.
I also like to paint flowers that are front & center, as is this one. After all, they are the subject, so they should be center stage! This painting is on the 5 x 7 canvas boards I picked up. I like working with the slightly larger size (than the 3 x 5) - just gives me more room.

And I'm back in the Doris Day movie. Lovely blue sky and fresh flower do really show the beauty of spring.
Wonderfully done daisy, Nan!
You've come a long way in the 30/30 Challenge!
