This was a Rookie Painter challenge back in June 2010 and you can read the original post here. I always liked the simplicity of this one, and the clean lines & colors. Clothespins and Ball jars seem to depict a simpler time and I wanted to convey that feeling with the light colors, shapes & strokes. I think it succeeded.

This is a beauty, Nancy! I love the suggestion of the clothespins in the jar. And I really like the green at the bottom of the jar. Very subtle and very nice!
