I am having so much fun with these 6x12 bird paintings - this is another from photographer Russ Bridges. And again, this is acrylic inks & washes. This style is so flattering to the feathers of the birds as well as the texture of the branches they sit on.
I am working on a 4th one of this series, also horizontal. I have a few others picked out with a vertical composition.
My plan is to have all of these in a show this August (and again possibly in a show in Sept/Oct), which is why there isn't a purchase button on these bird paintings. But if you are interested in purchasing one of these, please email me & let me know - we will work out an arrangement (or I'll just paint another bird for the show!!)
