Originally done in the summer of 2010, this was the VPO challenge for Prince Edward Island. I'm sorry to say I no longer have the original google link - if I find the location, I will come back & add it.
A beautiful island, loved roaming this one in Google, so much green! But as much as I loved the greenery, it was also the cloud formations that I had to paint. Gave me a chance to work some color into those clouds. I like this little painting - it has a really nice "feel" to it. The touch of tiny flowers in the foreground I though helped to balance things a bit too.

Your greens are so lovely, Nan. I never manage realistic greens. The little strip of wildflowers does do much for balancing the piece too. You have a fine eye!
