This was actually painted back in November of 2008, and it looks as though I never posted this. I think this painting predates my blog! I believe this was done as a response to a Wet Canvas challenge. I recall I was struggling with the whole image - it appeared flat. Feedback from another artist sent me down the path of enhanced highlights and shadows, giving it all more interest and depth. A valuable lesson that I still work with today.

It is lovely, Nancie. For some reason, I can't get into WC. I tried just the other day and got error messages. Tried emailing the site and got a daemon failure notice on the email.
