This was a fun little painting done for the Rookie Painter challenge back in September 2010 - original link can be found here. This was done in my "shapes" style of painting - I love how the shapes on the lemon help to depict the texture on the rind. I also played with color in this, adding greens in the lemon that may not normally be seen!
