Now I know why - where romantic events are being celebrated.Nan Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03056726501810316005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9064569197002287472.post-71258672850586989642010-09-23T10:11:19.012-04:002010-09-23T10:11:19.012-04:00I enjoyed your story. We lived in Chicago for a few years and some great memories were made at private "clubs" with unmarked doors in alleys. My VP painting, which ended up looking like something out of a children's book, was a restaurant with the same name as one in my city where lots of romantic events are celebrated. I must have been looking for a connection?Sherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458562010383502374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9064569197002287472.post-59075644376182189832010-09-21T15:30:37.014-04:002010-09-21T15:30:37.014-04:00Thank you all! And Paula, you're probably right, he probably can play the heck out of the guitar. I'll even venture to say he plays for his food down in the subway stations - you can hear some of the best jazz music coming out from down there sometimes.Nan Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03056726501810316005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9064569197002287472.post-16202684570672785052010-09-21T14:30:58.527-04:002010-09-21T14:30:58.527-04:00How much you want to bet that that man can play th...How much you want to bet that that man can play the heck out of that guitar? Love your commentary. And I agree about how much energy we had "back then". It must be nice to see everyone's take on your old stomping ground.
